Bio

IMG_2429I’m a researcher at the Communication Networks & Social Change group, of the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) in the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). With a techie PhD, an Interactive Media Master and a Bachelor of Journalism I’m an interdisciplinary experiment.

I conduct user studies related with ICTs, with children and older people. My activities include ethnographic explorations, co-design studies, prototyping and evaluation processes. I also have developed wearable systems for playful and educative purposes. Actually, I’m focused on playful interaction for seniors with mobile technologies.  How do seniors use mobile technologies? How does this differ from younger adults? How do older people learn how to use technologies? And, what new technologies do they imagine would be useful in their lives?
